Premier Los Angeles-based film company Recreation Media has come on board to sell two family adventure animated feature films, Two Tails and Princess in Wonderland. Both films, currently in production, are produced by Licensing Brands, one of the largest animation studio in Eastern Europe and Russia.
Recreation is handling worldwide rights excluding CIS and Baltics to the mid-range budget films. The company sealed deals for multiple territories at the Cannes market with Princess in Wonderland going to CJ (Korea), Bir (Turkey), Empire (Middle East), Ideal (Iran), Green Media (Vietnam), Innovative (India), Dexin (Ex Yugo), Akson (Poland), One Vision (Indonesia), and Pro Films (Bulgaria).
Two Tails has been sold to Eagle Pictures (Italy), CiMax (Korea), Bir (Turkey), Green Media (Vietnam), Innovative (India), Dexin (Ex Yugo), One Vision (Indonesia), and Pro Films (Bulgaria). Active negotiations for both titles are underway for China and additional territories which are expected to be closed in the next days.

Directed by Marina Nefedova (popular animated series “Masha and the Bear”), Princess in Wonderland tells the story of little Barbara, who discovers a magical book on her 7th birthday that transports her to an enchanted Wonderland — a place filled with dragons and fantastic creatures.

Recreation Media’s sales lineup also includes the crime thriller Lord of Shanghai directed by Sherwood Hu, and starring Hu Yun, The Debt with Stephen Dorff and David Strathairn, Bloodsucking Bastards with Pedro Pascal and Joel Murray, as well as The Vessel starring Martin Sheen and executive produced by Terrence Malick.
