NFL teams would never sign Kaepernick in the wake of his national anthem protest

Wow, talk about respecting the freedom of speech. So the moral of this story is what? I think I have the answer. If you are an athlete and you would like to see people treated fairly, don’t use your professional channels to make those things happen. Do it on your own time. I can’t believe the NFL has released him or the fact that somehow we all hate Kaepernick now. I don’t think he is a traitor. Snowden was a traitor and defector, Kaepernick just made a statement, and in return the NFL has made a statement too. When you see careers ended over things like this it is troubling. He didn’t burn the flag or curse America, he just protested the unfair treatment of veterans and anyone treated unjustly. He stood up for Americans and now the NFL is turning its back on him. If  you look back 20+ years, I think there was a similar conflict with Craig Hodges in the NBA.
