Earth Colors Exhibit- Higashiji Kazuki Art Exhibit to be Held in Akihabara

Kazuki Higashiji, Art Director who is responsible for the brilliant background art for series such as ANGEL BEATS!, HANASAKU IROHA, and NAGIASU: A LULL IN THE SEA is holding his art exhibit, “Earth Colors Exhibit” from March 17th to 28th in Akihabara!TOKYO, JAPAN – Feb. 24th, 2017Kazuki Higashiji, Art Director who created many background art for signature Japanese animated series will be holding an art exhibit at Akihabara’s exhibit facility, Arts Chiyoda 3331. The exhibit will showcase Higashiji’s selected works from 6 different shows; ANGEL BEATS!, HANASAKU IROHA: BLOSSOMS OF TOMORROW, TARI TARI, HANASAKU IROHA THE MOVIE: HOME SWEET HOME, NAGIASU: A LULL IN THE SEA, and CHARLOTTE. In addition to the above, there will be two new artworks on display, created specifically for this exhibit. At the exhibit, art book “Earth Colors” will be sold as well.

First Collection of Kazuki Higashiji‘s Art Director artwork. The cover of the book designed with new artwork drawn by Kazuki Higashiji. The art book contains selected background artwork from 6 shows; ANGEL BEATS!, HANASAKU IROHA: BLOSSOMS OF TOMORROW, TARI TARI, HANASAKU IROHA THE MOVIE: HOME SWEET HOME, NAGIASU: A LULL IN THE SEA, and CHARLOTTE. The design of the art book is supervised by Tomoyuki Uchikoga, who has designed logos for ANGEL BEATS!, NAGIASU: A LULL IN THE SEA, and CHARLOTTE.

The art book contains art selected by Kazuki Higashiji. Some of the background art has characters placed in them to relay the harmony of the two.
